How does Done For You training work?
Start with an initial consult
We discuss your struggles and needs, and how I can help resolve them.
To ensure you see results there is an minimum of one month (8 sessions) for walk and train, and two weeks (6 training sessions and 2 transfer sessions) for dog tutoring.

Step 1. Initial Consult
$60
This includes:
30-45 minute consultation in your home to meet you and your dog and discuss your goals and challenges.
We will discuss which of walk and train or dog tutoring would be a better fit.
Step 2. Choose your service:

Dog Tutoring
Like board and train in your own home! This service is great for dogs that need a lot of training help or to work with behavioral issues.
Each week your dog gets 4 sessions with a professional trainer:
Three sessions where your dog is trained by a professional for an hour while you get on with your day. I train key behaviors to meet your training goals, provide a potty break or short walk as necessary, and leave you a personalized report on each visit.
A 60 minute transfer session with you and your dog to show how you can maintain results (on a Friday or Saturday).
$595 per week
2 week minimum for new dog tutoring clients to ensure that you see results

There is always more to train! I offer single week packages and 3 week packages so that we can continue to build on the progress your dog has made.
Single week packages are great for people who just want a monthly training top up. Three week packages are perfect for people who want continuous help or whose dogs have bigger challenges.
I will send you a link to book further weeks of training after the initial 2 week period.

No, (except for once a week). I do the work while you do anything else!
Once a week we will get together and I will show you what your dog has learned, and how you can keep the training going.

I will provide a secure lock box for your door key that will be left at your property. This gives you complete control over the key and access to your house.

I use positive reinforcement-based methods and games-based concept training. These methods are force-free and focus on creating wins for both you and your dog. Concept training focuses on building your dog’s skills in aspects of their personality, such as increasing confidence or helping them turn their attention away from distractions and back to you.

I can normally judge pretty well how long it will take to achieve your training goals, but would rather allow too much time than not have enough to produce the results you expect. If your dog is a rock star then I am happy to offer a refund for unused weeks, or train something else you need.
